Lamaze Classes at Pali Women's Health Center


Learn how to reduce your fear and increase your confidence about birth. Empower your partner with the support skills to help you have a positive birth experience! By combining education with focused breathing, relaxation, and other supportive techniques, you can find more comfort in labor. Partners are a vital piece of this puzzle.

Dates for upcoming class series, which are four Friday nights in a row 6:30PM - 9PM:

Lamaze Class Details

Class fees: $140 for 10 hours of instruction, as well as a class textbook and class folder. The best time to take childbirth education is when mom is around 30 weeks along in her pregnancy. See full class details below.

Instructor details: Classes are taught by Nicia Platt, LCCE (Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator). A military spouse, birth educator, and author of numerous childbirth articles in Hawaii Parent magazine, Nicia is excited to teach couples the good news about childbirth in a positive, relaxing environment.
